威瑪戰爭 154－雷神降臨

火神與空中霸主在空中交錯飛行，不斷吸引著大王蜈蚣的注意力。

地面上，各式火線交錯，瘋狂轟擊著怪物。

麥特緊盯著X光掃描畫面，確認山德、布萊克與凡赫辛的位置。

麥特：「第四節！」

收到指令後，火神立即垂直爬升，掠過蜈蚣頭頂。

大王蜈蚣本能地抬起頭，卻瞬間遭到兩發狙擊炮命中。

是寇克與帕克。

緊接著，沙漠巨兵的破炮精準轟中怪物眼部。

麥特：「就是現在！赤司！」

火神抵達第四節位置。

此時所有人開始集中火力攻擊怪物頭部。

剛被打瞎的眼睛雖然正在復原，但速度明顯受到壓制。

他們真正的目標，是先把山德等人救出來。

賽門駕駛冰雹沿著怪物背部一路攀爬到第四節前方。

巨大的冰刀狠狠刺入怪物體內。

下一秒，所有冰氣全面釋放。

他要把大王蜈蚣凍死在這裡。

火神抵達指定位置後，雷砂與沙漠機兵也趕了過來。

眾人對著第四節弱點展開猛烈攻擊。

此時體內的山德、布萊克與凡赫辛也同時從內部破壞。

內外夾擊。

雷砂的電漿加特林不僅能麻痺怪物、減緩再生速度，更在厚重甲殼上燒出一個巨大缺口。

芬克斯、法蘭克與葛利姆也陸續加入攻擊。

麥特一邊監控戰況，一邊駕駛機甲在蜈蚣背部高速奔馳。

另一邊，溫斯頓駕駛著沙漠惡棍，緩緩將文森特的電王拖回後方。

空中霸主則持續盤旋。

所有飛彈發射器都鎖定著蜈蚣頭部。

只要怪物恢復行動能力，最後一輪飛彈便會立刻發射。

卡羅：「麥特，你別靠太近，我的飛彈會打到你！」

麥特：「必要的話，犧牲我也沒關係。反正我是機器人。」

卡羅沉默片刻。

卡羅：「你是我們獲勝的關鍵。」

「而且，我們早就把你當夥伴了。」

此時，大王蜈蚣第四節的位置已經被燒出一個巨大的洞口。

冰雹釋放的寒氣也讓怪物上半身變得極度脆弱。

然而賽門卻發現另一個問題。

賽門：「牠開始有意識地控制再生了。」

漢克：「八隻眼睛的修復速度也變快了，我們沒辦法一直打下去。」

帕克忽然開口。

帕克：「漢克將軍，把你的鉤斧借我！」

話音剛落。

沙漠之鷹高速衝上前。

帕克抓起鋸齒劍，狠狠刺進大王蜈蚣額頭。

寇克緊隨其後，舉起火槍瘋狂噴射烈焰。

漢克則揮舞鉤斧，用斧柄末端重重敲擊劍柄。

鏘——！

鋸齒劍被硬生生打進怪物頭骨。

大王蜈蚣發出震耳欲聾的慘叫。

就在此時。

冰封造成的脆化開始擴散。

怪物劇烈掙扎之下，竟硬生生撕裂了自己的身體。

傷口瞬間擴大。

冰雹的大刀也被強行扯出。

賽門失去平衡，墜向地面。

所有人同時察覺——

大王蜈蚣要動了。

山德：「全部讓開！」

炎魔猛然從怪物體內衝出。

一記飛踢踹碎殘存甲殼。

然而再生組織立刻開始填補缺口。

凡赫辛：「能量全開！」

桑納托斯將大面積雷射網射向傷口。

布萊克則舉起守護者盾牌上的光束炮，持續擴大出口。

布萊克：「凡赫辛！跟上！」

守護著衝出，但是桑納托斯沒跟上

麥特看著掃描畫面，臉色驟變。

麥特：「來不及了！」

布萊克率先脫困。

雷砂立刻補上火力，持續以電漿燒灼傷口。

但就在這時——

大王蜈蚣的頭部完全恢復了。

牠猛然衝向眾人。

機甲部隊立刻四散閃避。

山德：「凡赫辛！！」

然而下一秒。

眾人愣住了。

只見桑納托斯正扶著冰雹飛行於半空之中。

布萊克：「什麼？」

原來剛才冰封造成的巨大撕裂傷，讓凡赫辛找到了一條逃生路線。

趁著傷口閉合前的瞬間成功脫困。

漢克：「專心戰鬥！」

山德：「怪物體內已經沒人了！」

麥特：「摩西，交給你了。」

「把牠引過去。」

「紅海戰術開始！」

空中霸主、火神、沙漠之鷹、獅王、炎魔與桑納托斯立刻編隊飛行。

故意吸引大王蜈蚣追擊。

其餘機甲則迅速在摩西前方展開陣線。

鱷魚、獵犬、守護者、超重武裝、虎鯊、巨兵、雷砂與沙漠機兵紛紛架起武器。

賽門駕駛冰雹爬到溫斯頓旁邊。

賽門：「見證時刻到了。」

最後抵達的麥特看向遠方。

麥特：「別讓我們失望啊，摩西！」

寇克大笑。

寇克：「最後的大迴轉來啦！」

空中小隊瞬間向兩側散開。

地面部隊同時開火。

無數炮火交錯轟擊。

雖然讓大王蜈蚣速度下降，卻依舊無法阻止牠前進。

摩西：「好了！」

「全部散開！」

所有機甲立即撤離。

下一秒。

摩西高舉雙臂。

摩西：「雷神降臨——！！」

轟——！！

兩道耀眼白光瞬間貫穿整個地底空間。

閃電號令將背包儲電槽的全部能量一次釋放。

狂暴雷電化為兩條巨龍，正面轟向大王蜈蚣。

整座洞窟被照得亮如白晝。

雷電貫穿怪物全身。

焦黑、燃燒、爆裂。

大王蜈蚣瘋狂顫抖。

甲殼開始崩解。

濃煙不斷從體內竄出。

就在所有人以為勝利即將到來時。

麥特忽然抬起頭。

掃描畫面中。

洞穴上方不知何時出現了幾個孔洞。

而且——

正有無數小型怪物屍體不斷從裡面墜落下來。

Weimar War 154 - The Descent of Thunder

Vulcan and AirMaster crossed paths in the air, constantly drawing the Giant King Centipede's attention.

On the ground, streams of gunfire crisscrossed as every unit unleashed relentless attacks against the monster.

Matt stared at the X-ray scanner, tracking the positions of Sander, Black, and Van Helsing inside the creature.

Matt: "Segment Four!"

Upon receiving the order, Vulcan immediately climbed vertically and swept over the centipede's head.

The Giant King Centipede instinctively raised its head, only to be struck by two sniper rounds.

Kirk and Parker.

A moment later, Desert Giant's siege cannon blasted directly into one of the monster's eyes.

Matt: "Now, Akashi!"

Vulcan reached the fourth body segment.

At once, everyone concentrated their fire on the creature's head.

The eyes that had just been destroyed were already regenerating, but the recovery process had been significantly slowed.

Their true objective was simple:

Rescue Sander and the others.

Simon piloted Hailstone across the creature's back and reached the area in front of Segment Four.

The giant ice blade plunged deep into the monster's flesh.

The next second, every reserve of freezing energy was released.

He intended to freeze the Giant King Centipede in place.

As Vulcan secured the target position, Thunder Sand and the Desert Bastion arrived to reinforce the assault.

They immediately focused their attacks on the weakened fourth segment.

Meanwhile, inside the creature, Sander, Black, and Van Helsing launched attacks from within.

A perfect pincer attack.

Thunder Sand's Plasma Gatling not only paralyzed the monster and slowed its regeneration, but also burned a massive hole through its armored shell.

Finks, Frank, and Grimm soon joined the barrage.

While monitoring the battlefield, Matt sprinted across the centipede's back with his mech.

Elsewhere, Winston slowly dragged Vincent's Thunder King away from the battlefield with Desert Rogue.

High above, AirMaster continued circling.

Every missile launcher remained locked onto the creature's head.

The moment the monster fully recovered, the final missile barrage would be unleashed.

Carlo: "Matt, don't get so close! My missiles might hit you!"

Matt: "If necessary, I can be sacrificed. I'm just a machine."

Carlo fell silent for a moment.

Carlo: "You're the key to our victory."

"And we've already accepted you as one of us."

By now, a massive hole had been burned through the fourth segment.

The freezing energy released by Hailstone had made the monster's upper body extremely brittle.

Yet Simon noticed something alarming.

Simon: "It's starting to control its regeneration consciously."

Hank: "The recovery speed of all eight eyes is increasing. We can't keep this up forever."

Suddenly, Parker spoke.

Parker: "General Hank! I need your Hook Axe!"

Before anyone could respond, Desert Eagle surged forward.

Parker grabbed the Serrated Sword and drove it deep into the centipede's forehead.

Kirk followed immediately behind, unleashing torrents of flame from his flamethrower.

Hank swung his Hook Axe and slammed the back end of the weapon against the sword's hilt.

CLANG—!

The blade was hammered deep into the monster's skull.

The Giant King Centipede let out a deafening scream.

Then the freezing damage began to spread.

As the creature thrashed violently, it literally tore its own body apart.

The wound split open even further.

Hailstone's ice blade was ripped free.

Simon lost his balance and fell toward the ground.

Everyone realized the same thing.

The Giant King Centipede was moving again.

Sander: "Move away!"

Flame Armor burst out from inside the creature.

A powerful flying kick shattered the remaining shell around the opening.

But the regenerating flesh immediately began sealing the gap.

Van Helsing: "Maximum power!"

Thanatos fired a massive laser web into the wound.

Meanwhile, Black raised Protecter's shield-mounted beam cannon and continued widening the opening.

Black: "Van Helsing! Move!"

Protecter broke free.

But Thanatos didn't follow.

Matt's expression changed as he stared at the scanner.

Matt: "There's no time!"

Black escaped first.

Thunder Sand immediately poured plasma fire into the wound, trying to keep it open.

But then—

The Giant King Centipede's head fully regenerated.

The monster charged.

The mech forces scattered in every direction.

Sander: "VAN HELSING!!"

Then everyone froze.

Thanatos was hovering in the air.

And it was carrying Hailstone.

Black: "What?"

The massive tear created by Hailstone's freezing attack had opened an alternate escape route.

Van Helsing had found it and slipped out moments before the wound closed.

Hank: "Focus on the battle!"

Sander: "Nobody's left inside the monster!"

Matt: "Moses, it's your turn."

"Lead it over."

"Operation Red Sea begins now."

AirMaster, Vulcan, Desert Eagle, Lion King, Flame Armor, and Thanatos immediately formed a flight squadron.

They deliberately lured the Giant King Centipede into pursuit.

Meanwhile, the remaining mechs rapidly formed a defensive line in front of Moses.

Crocodile, Hound, Protecter, Heavy Arms, Tiger Shark, Desert Giant, Thunder Sand, and the Desert Bastion all deployed their weapons.

Simon climbed back into Hailstone and moved beside Winston.

Simon: "Time to witness history."

Matt arrived last and looked toward the battlefield.

Matt: "Don't disappoint us, Moses!"

Kirk burst out laughing.

Kirk: "Here comes the final turnaround!"

The aerial squadron split apart instantly.

The ground forces opened fire.

Countless streams of artillery crossed the battlefield.

The barrage slowed the monster.

But it wasn't enough to stop it.

Moses: "Good!"

"Everybody clear out!"

All mechs immediately retreated.

The next second—

Moses raised both arms.

Moses: "DESCENT OF THUNDER!!"

BOOOOOOM—!!

Two pillars of blinding white light erupted across the underground battlefield.

Lightning Command emptied every reserve cell in its energy pack in a single discharge.

The raging electricity transformed into twin thunder dragons and slammed directly into the Giant King Centipede.

The entire cavern shone as brightly as daylight.

The lightning pierced through the monster's entire body.

Burning.

Exploding.

Blackening.

The Giant King Centipede convulsed violently.

Its armored shell began to collapse.

Smoke poured endlessly from its body.

Just as everyone believed victory was finally within reach—

Matt looked up.

On the scanner, several openings had appeared high above the cavern ceiling.

And then—

An endless rain of small monster corpses began falling from the holes.
