戰鬥結束後，命隙部隊暫時停留，路德待在蒼影堡壘戰車後方。
After the battle ended, the Rift Command Unit stopped temporarily, while Luther remained at the rear of the Solar Ark.
路德坐在地上，身上的傷勢雖然經過簡單處理，但臉色依舊有些蒼白。
Luther sat on the ground. His injuries had been treated for the moment, but his face was still pale.
嵩馬與尤里蹲在他身旁，仔細檢查著他的身體狀況。
Shuma and Yuri crouched beside him, carefully checking his condition.
另一邊，其他人則開始整理武裝、重新確認彈藥與裝備。
Meanwhile, the others began reorganizing their weapons and checking their ammunition and equipment.
馬汀尼看著手上的藥劑清單。
Martini looked at the list of supplies in his hand.
馬汀尼：「瑞德，目前彈藥還剩九成。」
Martini: “Redd, we still have ninety percent of our ammunition.”
瑞德：「九成？」
Redd: “Ninety percent?”
馬汀尼：「嗯，比原本預計的多一成。剛才那場戰鬥消耗沒有想像中大。」
Martini: “Yeah. Ten percent more than we expected. We didn't use as much during that battle as we thought we would.”
瑞德點了點頭。
Redd nodded.
瑞德：「很好。照計畫，全部整裝完成後繼續前進。」
Redd: “Good. Once everyone is fully equipped, we'll continue according to plan.”
修寶停下手上的動作，看向坐在旁邊的路德。
Xiubao stopped what he was doing and looked at Luther sitting nearby.
修寶：「等等，那路德呢？」
Xiubao: “Wait. What about Luther?”
瑞德：「帶上。」
Redd: “We're taking him with us.”
修寶：「直接帶著他一起走？」
Xiubao: “You're taking him with us just like that?”
瑞德：「不然呢？讓他一個人回去？」
Redd: “What else? Leave him to go back alone?”
修寶：「呃……我是想說，他現在這個狀況，還能戰鬥嗎？」
Xiubao: “Uh... I mean, can he even fight in his current condition?”
路德立刻抬起頭。
Luther immediately looked up.
路德：「我還能戰鬥！」
Luther: “I can still fight!”
嵩馬看了他一眼。
Shuma glanced at him.
嵩馬：「你剛剛差點連站都站不起來。」
Shuma: “You could barely even stand a moment ago.”
路德：「那是剛才！」
Luther: “That was before!”
尤里忍不住笑了一下。
Yuri couldn't help but laugh.
尤里：「至少精神還很好。」
Yuri: “At least your spirit is still strong.”
路德無奈地看著眾人。
Luther looked at everyone helplessly.
路德：「所以……我到底要去哪裡？」
Luther: “So... where exactly are we going?”
就在這時，紅蓮走到瑞德面前。
Just then, Guren walked over to Redd.
紅蓮：「我其實也很好奇。」
Guren: “I'm actually curious too.”
瑞德回頭。
Redd turned around.
紅蓮：「這次任務，你似乎知道得太多了。」
Guren: “You seem to know far too much about this mission.”
瑞德：「……」
Redd: “...”
紅蓮：「我們根本沒有派人去前方偵查，但你卻知道接下來要走哪條路，甚至知道會遇到什麼。」
Guren: “We never sent anyone ahead to scout, yet you already knew which route to take and even what we would encounter.”
紅蓮雙手抱胸。
Guren crossed her arms.
紅蓮：「你到底知道多少？」
Guren: “How much do you actually know?”
馬汀尼也皺起眉頭。
Martini also frowned.
馬汀尼：「對啊，我記得我們在笙竹的簡報裡，並沒有這麼詳細的資訊。」
Martini: “Exactly. As far as I remember, Shengzhu's briefing didn't contain this much information.”
路德看看紅蓮，又看看瑞德。
Luther looked at Guren, then at Redd.
路德：「你們到底在說什麼？」
Luther: “What are you two talking about?”
尤里也開口。
Yuri spoke up as well.
尤里：「我也想知道。」
Yuri: “I'd like to know too.”
瑞德沉默了幾秒。
Redd remained silent for a few seconds.
最後，他長長地嘆了一口氣。
Finally, he let out a long sigh.
瑞德：「唉……」
Redd: “Sigh...”
他看著眾人。
He looked at everyone.
瑞德：「我們路上再說吧。」
Redd: “I'll explain on the way.”
修寶：「所以真的有秘密？」
Xiubao: “So there really is a secret?”
瑞德：「不是秘密。」
Redd: “It's not a secret.”
瑞德轉身拿起自己的裝備。
Redd turned around and picked up his equipment.
瑞德：「只是……有些事情，現在還不知道該怎麼跟你們解釋。」
Redd: “It's just... there are some things I still don't know how to explain to you.”
紅蓮：「那就邊走邊說。」
Guren: “Then tell us while we walk.”
瑞德點頭。
Redd nodded.
瑞德：「前往下一個地方還有一段距離。」
Redd: “We still have some distance to cover before we reach the next location.”
瑞德：「我慢慢跟你們說。」
Redd: “I'll tell you everything along the way.”

--- Base Three ---
另一邊。
Meanwhile, elsewhere.
三號基地的機甲工坊內，佛斯站在剛完成改造的機甲旁。
Inside the mecha workshop of Base Three, Foss stood beside a newly modified mecha.
布拉姆從機甲下方鑽了出來，拍了拍手上的灰塵。
Bram crawled out from underneath the mecha and dusted off his hands.
布拉姆：「好了。」
Bram: “There. Done.”
佛斯走近仔細看了一圈。
Foss stepped closer and carefully inspected it.
布拉姆：「這次改造得不錯吧？」
Bram: “Not bad, right?”
佛斯沉默幾秒。
Foss was silent for a few seconds.
佛斯：「好黑喔～～」
Foss: “It's really black~~”
布拉姆愣了一下。
Bram froze for a moment.
布拉姆：「……什麼意思？」
Bram: “...What do you mean?”
佛斯：「就是太黑了啊。」
Foss: “I mean, it's just too black.”
佛斯摸了摸機甲的裝甲。
Foss touched the mecha's armor.
佛斯：「現在只剩塗裝了吧？」
Foss: “Only the paint job is left, right?”
布拉姆：「對。」
Bram: “Yeah.”
佛斯：「可以幫我換成白色嗎？」
Foss: “Can you make it white?”
布拉姆露出有些意外的表情。
Bram looked slightly surprised.
布拉姆：「你要換白色？」
Bram: “You want it white?”
佛斯：「對啊。」
Foss: “Yeah.”
佛斯笑了一下。
Foss smiled.
佛斯：「想換個顏色了。」
Foss: “I just feel like changing the color.”
布拉姆：「好，我讓工人重新處理塗裝。」
Bram: “Okay. I'll have the workers redo the paint job.”
他拿起平板開始記錄。
He picked up his tablet and began taking notes.
布拉姆：「完成之後再叫你過來看。」
Bram: “I'll call you over when it's finished.”
佛斯點點頭。
Foss nodded.
突然，他像是想到什麼。
Suddenly, he seemed to remember something.
佛斯：「對了，帆姆的機甲可以一起改嗎？」
Foss: “Oh, by the way, can we modify Farm's mecha too?”
布拉姆：「帆姆？」
Bram: “Farm?”
佛斯：「對啊，就是我們那邊另一架。」
Foss: “Yeah, the other one from our side.”
布拉姆想了想。
Bram thought for a moment.
布拉姆：「你是說跟你同型的那架？」
Bram: “You mean the one that's the same model as yours?”
佛斯：「嗯。」
Foss: “Yeah.”
布拉姆：「可以。」
Bram: “Sure.”
他快速翻了一下資料。
He quickly looked through the data.
布拉姆：「我安排一下。」
Bram: “I'll arrange it.”
布拉姆：「如果使用同樣的機型進行改造，兩台一起作戰，應該會有不錯的效果。」
Bram: “If we modify both using the same model, the two machines should work quite well together in combat.”
佛斯突然停了下來。
Foss suddenly stopped.
佛斯：「等等。」
Foss: “Wait.”
布拉姆：「怎麼？」
Bram: “What?”
佛斯：「這樣不就跟你的工兵一樣了？」
Foss: “Wouldn't that make it just like your engineer unit?”
布拉姆也愣了一下。
Bram froze as well.
布拉姆：「……好像是。」
Bram: “...I guess you're right.”
兩人互看一眼。
The two looked at each other.
佛斯忍不住笑了。
Foss couldn't help but laugh.
佛斯：「那你是不是應該想點不一樣的？」
Foss: “Then maybe you should come up with something different?”
布拉姆摸著下巴。
Bram rubbed his chin.
布拉姆：「其實我原本就在想。」
Bram: “Actually, I was already thinking about that.”
佛斯：「想什麼？」
Foss: “Thinking about what?”
布拉姆：「要不要換抓斗。」
Bram: “Whether we should change the weapon to a grapple claw.”
佛斯一愣。
Foss was stunned.
佛斯：「抓斗？」
Foss: “A grapple claw?”
布拉姆：「對。」
Bram: “Yeah.”
布拉姆指向一旁的機械手臂。
Bram pointed toward a mechanical arm nearby.
布拉姆：「原本我是想把抓斗裝在你的機甲左手。」
Bram: “Originally, I was planning to install the grapple claw on your mecha's left arm.”
佛斯：「那現在呢？」
Foss: “What about now?”
布拉姆：「現在看起來……你的左手換成雙鑽頭，可能更適合。」
Bram: “Now that I think about it... replacing your left arm with a double drill might suit you better.”
佛斯看著雙鑽頭，又看向抓斗。
Foss looked at the double drill, then at the grapple claw.
佛斯：「那抓斗呢？」
Foss: “Then what about the grapple claw?”
布拉姆：「如果帆姆的機甲也過來改造，可以讓他試試。」
Bram: “If Farm's mecha comes in for modification too, we can let him try it.”
佛斯點點頭。
Foss nodded.
佛斯：「好。」
Foss: “Okay.”
他笑了起來。
He smiled.
佛斯：「那就等帆姆來，大家一起看看抓斗到底好不好用。」
Foss: “Then we'll wait for Farm to arrive and see how useful the grapple claw really is.”
布拉姆：「沒問題。」
Bram: “No problem.”
佛斯轉頭看向那台黑色機甲。
Foss turned toward the black mecha.
佛斯：「不過我的白色塗裝可不能忘記。」
Foss: “But don't forget about my white paint job.”
布拉姆：「知道啦。」
Bram: “I know, I know.”

部隊沿著公路持續前進。
The unit continued moving along the highway.
引擎聲在荒涼的大地上迴盪。
The sound of their engines echoed across the barren land.
瑞德一邊走，一邊將自己所知道的資訊告訴眾人。
As they moved, Redd told everyone what he knew.
說完後，隊伍陷入一陣沉默。
After he finished, the entire group fell silent.
過了一會兒，尤里率先開口。
After a while, Yuri was the first to speak.
尤里：「所以……你到底翻到了多少歷史資料？」
Yuri: “So... how much historical data did you actually find?”
瑞德笑了一下。
Redd smiled.
瑞德：「沒有你想像中的那麼多。」
Redd: “Not as much as you might think.”
尤里：「那你怎麼知道這麼多？」
Yuri: “Then how do you know so much?”
瑞德：「我只是把能找到的資料整理起來，再做一些準備。」
Redd: “I just organized whatever information I could find and made some preparations.”
馬汀尼皺著眉。
Martini frowned.
馬汀尼：「可是如果我們知道未來發生過什麼，會不會反而讓事情變得更加未知？」
Martini: “But if we know what happened in the future, couldn't that actually make everything even more unpredictable?”
瑞德看向遠方。
Redd looked into the distance.
瑞德：「現在就是未知。」
Redd: “Everything is unknown now.”
馬汀尼愣了一下。
Martini paused.
瑞德：「我們所知道的歷史，是原本的歷史。」
Redd: “The history we know is the original history.”
瑞德：「但從我們救下路德的那一刻開始……」
Redd: “But from the moment we rescued Luther...”
他停了一下。
He paused.
瑞德：「那個未來就已經不存在了。」
Redd: “That future no longer exists.”
眾人沉默。
Everyone fell silent.
就在這時——
Just then—
前方突然傳來一陣踉蹌的金屬聲。
A staggering metallic sound suddenly came from ahead.
路德駕駛的藍甲蟲晃了一下。
The Blue Beetle piloted by Luther shook slightly.
鐵齋立刻轉頭。
Tessai immediately turned around.
鐵齋：「路德！你還好嗎？」
Tessai: “Luther! Are you okay?”
藍甲蟲重新穩住。
The Blue Beetle steadied itself.
路德：「沒事！」
Luther: “I'm fine!”
鐵齋卻沒有放鬆。
But Tessai did not relax.
鐵齋：「真的？」
Tessai: “Really?”
路德：「真的啦！」
Luther: “I said I'm fine!”
瑞德看著藍甲蟲。
Redd looked at the Blue Beetle.
瑞德：「很難接受嗎？」
Redd: “Is it hard to accept?”
路德沉默了一會兒。
Luther remained silent for a moment.
駕駛艙裡傳來他的聲音。
His voice came from inside the cockpit.
路德：「……原來我在另一個時空，最後死掉了。」
Luther: “...So in another timeline, I eventually died.”
隊伍的氣氛瞬間變得安靜。
The atmosphere instantly became silent.
瑞德沒有立即回答。
Redd did not answer immediately.
過了一會兒，他才開口。
After a while, he finally spoke.
瑞德：「我找到的資料裡，只記載你在衛星基地墜落之後，被判定死亡。」
Redd: “The records I found only state that you were presumed dead after the satellite base went down.”
路德：「沒有屍體？」
Luther: “No body?”
瑞德：「沒有。」
Redd: “No.”
路德沉默。
Luther fell silent.
路德：「那個時空的我……就這樣沒了？」
Luther: “So the me from that timeline... just disappeared like that?”
瑞德：「至少紀錄上是這樣。」
Redd: “At least, that's what the records say.”
路德低下頭。
Luther lowered his head.
過了幾秒，他又問：

路德：「那死亡名單呢？」
Luther: “What about the death records?”
瑞德：「什麼？」
Redd: “What?”
路德：「這邊的死亡名單。」
Luther: “The death records from this side.”
瑞德看著他。
Redd looked at him.
路德：「除了我之外，還有多少人？」
Luther: “How many others were there besides me?”
瑞德沉默片刻。
Redd was silent for a moment.
瑞德：「很多。」
Redd: “A lot.”
路德沒有說話。
Luther said nothing.
瑞德繼續說：

瑞德：「因為這個時間點前後大概有五年的誤差。」
Redd: “Because there was roughly a five-year margin of uncertainty around this point in time.”
瑞德：「有些人的屍體直到很久以後才被找到。」
Redd: “Some people's bodies were not found until much later.”
瑞德：「找到的時候……甚至只剩下白骨。」
Redd: “When they were found... sometimes only their bones remained.”
路德握緊操縱桿。
Luther tightened his grip on the controls.
路德：「……所以你根本沒有辦法確定所有人的命運。」
Luther: “...So you can't actually know everyone's fate.”
瑞德：「對。」
Redd: “That's right.”
路德：「也就是說……」
Luther: “Which means...”
路德抬頭看向前方。
Luther looked ahead.
路德：「如果我現在活著，那其他人是不是也可能改變？」
Luther: “If I'm alive now, does that mean everyone else's fate could change too?”
瑞德微微一笑。
Redd smiled slightly.
瑞德：「所以我們才會站在這裡。」
Redd: “That's why we're here.”
路德愣住。
Luther froze.
瑞德：「歷史不是拿來看的。」
Redd: “History isn't meant to simply be watched.”
瑞德：「至少現在不是。」
Redd: “At least, not now.”
瑞德：「我們可以知道它發生過什麼，但不能讓它決定接下來會發生什麼。」
Redd: “We can know what happened, but we can't let it decide what happens next.”
紅蓮在旁邊聽著，忍不住開口。
Guren, listening nearby, couldn't help but speak.
紅蓮：「所以接下來如果遇到歷史上發生過的事件……」
Guren: “So if we encounter an event that happened in history...”
瑞德：「稍微留意。」
Redd: “Pay attention to it.”
紅蓮：「但不能完全照著歷史走？」
Guren: “But we shouldn't simply follow history exactly?”
瑞德：「沒錯。」
Redd: “Exactly.”
馬汀尼突然想到什麼。
Martini suddenly thought of something.
馬汀尼：「等等。」
Martini: “Wait.”
所有人看向他。
Everyone looked at him.
馬汀尼：「接下來的歷史事件裡，不是有一件事是左伊為了救路德，才來到威瑪遜嗎？」
Martini: “Wasn't there an event in the future where Zoe came to Warmazon to rescue Luther?”
路德抬頭。
Luther looked up.
路德：「左伊？」
Luther: “Zoe?”
馬汀尼：「對。」
Martini: “Yeah.”
他看向瑞德。
He looked at Redd.
馬汀尼：「可是現在路德已經被我們救出來了。」
Martini: “But we've already rescued Luther.”
馬汀尼：「那左伊還會來嗎？」
Martini: “Will Zoe still come?”
瑞德笑了一下。
Redd smiled.
瑞德：「這就是問題。」
Redd: “That's the question.”
修寶：「也就是說……」
Xiubao: “Which means...”
瑞德：「我們已經改變歷史了。」
Redd: “We've already changed history.”
隊伍再次陷入沉默。
The group fell silent once again.
瑞德看向前方。
Redd looked ahead.
瑞德：「從救下路德的那一刻開始。」
Redd: “From the moment we rescued Luther.”
瑞德：「我們就在重新掌握未來。」
Redd: “We began taking control of the future again.”
路德聽著這句話，沉默了許久。
Luther remained silent for a long time after hearing those words.
最後，他輕聲說道：

路德：「那我可不想再死一次。」
Luther: “Then I definitely don't want to die a second time.”
鐵齋笑了。
Tessai smiled.
鐵齋：「放心。」

眾人順著他的視線望去。

遠方的地平線上，一道巨大的鐵壁逐漸浮現。
A massive iron wall slowly emerged on the horizon.
那是一座宛如山脈般高聳的鋼鐵關卡。
It was a towering steel fortress that rose like a mountain range.
鐵壁洪關。
The Ironwall Pass.
然而——

隨著距離越來越近，眾人的表情逐漸凝固。
As they drew closer, their expressions gradually froze.
因為鐵壁之外，遍布著無數扭曲的黑影。
Beyond the Ironwall were countless twisted shadows.
有些正在爬行。
Some were crawling.
有些正在撕咬。
Some were tearing into flesh.
還有更多怪物聚集在巨大的巢穴周圍。
Even more monsters gathered around enormous nests.
無數卵狀物體堆積在地面上，甚至有些已經裂開。

一隻又一隻怪物從裡面爬出。

修寶：「我也是這麼想。」

路德透過藍甲蟲的駕駛艙看著前方。
Luther looked ahead through the cockpit of the Blue Beetle.
路德：「我們真的要從這裡過去？」
Luther: “We're really going through here?”
瑞德沒有回答。
Redd did not answer.
他只是看著遠方的鐵壁洪關。
He simply stared at the Ironwall Pass in the distance.
過了幾秒，他突然下令。
After a few seconds, he suddenly gave an order.
瑞德：「所有人注意。」
Redd: “Everyone, listen up.”
隊伍立刻安靜下來。
The entire unit immediately fell silent.
瑞德：「機甲改成步行模式。」
Redd: “Switch the mechas to walking mode.”
眾人迅速操作。
Everyone quickly made the adjustments.
瑞德：「關閉干擾器。」
Redd: “Shut down the jammers.”
紅蓮：「關閉干擾器？」
Guren: “Shut down the jammers?”
瑞德：「對。」
Redd: “Yes.”
瑞德：「載具改成低速檔。」
Redd: “Switch the vehicles to low-speed mode.”
引擎聲逐漸降低。
The engine sounds gradually faded.
瑞德：「所有人把聲音降到最低。」
Redd: “Keep all noise to an absolute minimum.”
紅蓮看著前方。
Guren looked ahead.
紅蓮：「我們要偷偷過去？」
Guren: “We're going to sneak through?”
瑞德點頭。
Redd nodded.
瑞德：「沒錯。」
Redd: “That's right.”
紅蓮：「可是……這裡的怪物也太多了。」
Guren: “But... there are way too many monsters here.”
瑞德沒有否認。
Redd did not deny it.
他望著那片無邊無際的黑色潮流。
He stared at the endless black tide before them.
瑞德：「這裡的怪物……」
Redd: “The monsters here...”
停頓片刻。
He paused for a moment.
瑞德緩緩說道：

瑞德：「我們絕對打不完。」
Redd: “We could never fight our way through all of them.”

隊伍緩緩前進。
The unit slowly moved forward.

無數怪物正在黑暗中蠕動。

Redd: “Welcome to...”
瑞德：「終界之地。」
