橘子汽水、藍甲蟲還有火鳥機甲緩緩爬上山丘。
Orange Soda, Blue Beetle, and Phoanix slowly made their way up the hill.
三台機甲停下後，快速環視四周。
After the three mechs stopped, they quickly scanned their surroundings.
四周一片寂靜。
Everything around them was completely silent.
沒有怪物。
There were no monsters.
沒有異常的動靜。
There were no unusual movements.
就連剛才在遠處看見的巨大蜘蛛，也完全沒有留下任何蹤跡。

馬汀尼：「我想也是，你的機甲能應付的狀況比較多元。」
Martini: “I think so too. Your mech can handle a wider variety of situations.”
鐵齋：「話是這樣說，但真的遇到大型怪物，也只能牽制。」
Tessai: “That may be true, but if we really encounter a large monster, all I can do is keep it occupied.”

「一有狀況，我們會趕緊上來。」

紅蓮：「這裡的水質，我印象中統計數據有五十年的紀錄。」
Guren: “As far as I remember, there are fifty years of recorded data on the water quality here.”
「酸鹼值沒有太大的變化。」
“The pH levels haven’t changed very much.”
瑞德：「所以……這裡還有電？」
Redd: “So… there’s still electricity here?”
紅蓮：「應該還有部分電力。」
Guren: “There should still be some power.”
就在這時。

修寶突然伸手。
Xiubao suddenly reached out.

直接拉下了電閘。

Guren: “It’s fine.”
「這是室內用的電流。」
“This is just the interior power supply.”
「真正的水力發電設備在另外一個地方。」

瑞德看著周圍重新亮起的設備。
Redd looked at the equipment around them as it lit up again.
瑞德：「至少這樣我們比較容易調查。」
Redd: “At least this makes it easier for us to investigate.”

尤里駕駛著小蚱蜢慢慢跟了上來。
Yuri slowly followed in the Little Grasshopper.
尤里：「這台小蚱蜢真的很好玩。」
Yuri: “This Little Grasshopper is really fun.”
「感覺整台都在漂浮。」
“It feels like the whole thing is floating.”
修寶：「你小心一點。」
Xiubao: “Be careful.”
尤里：「放心啦！」
Yuri: “Don’t worry!”

右側的門內。

Martini: “There’s electricity here!”
「你們有看到嗎？」
“Did you see it?”
瑞德：「紅蓮，你說。」
Redd: “Guren, tell them.”
紅蓮：「這是內建的水力發電系統。」
Guren: “This is the built-in hydroelectric power system.”
瑞德：「上面有怪物嗎？」
Redd: “Are there any monsters up there?”
路德：「沒有。」
Luther: “No.”
馬汀尼：「剛剛也用熱成像掃過。」
Martini: “We also scanned the area with thermal imaging.”
「沒有發現任何異常。」
“We didn’t find anything unusual.”
修寶眼睛一亮。
Xiubao’s eyes lit up.
修寶：「那這樣……我們可以開始發電了！」
Xiubao: “Then… we can start generating power!”
嵩馬：「瑞德，所以你真的要開啟水力發電系統？」
Shuma: “Redd, so you really intend to activate the hydroelectric system?”
瑞德沉默了一下。

夕陽逐漸靠近山頭。

巨大的湖面平靜得像一面鏡子。

他看著眼前的壩體。
He looked at the dam before him.
鐵齋：「這個壩體……當年應該很美吧。」
Tessai: “This dam… it must have been beautiful back then.”
突然。
Suddenly,
一個念頭閃過。

Orange Soda slowly rose into the air.
鐵齋想從更高的位置看看整座壩體究竟延伸到了多遠。

遠方的山脈被染上一層淡淡的橘紅。
The distant mountains were covered in a faint orange-red glow.
鐵齋：「夕陽無限好，只是近黃昏。」
Tessai: “The sunset is beautiful, but evening is drawing near.”

橘子汽水順勢朝著壩體上方飛去。
Orange Soda flew toward the top of the dam.
然而就在他準備降低高度的瞬間——

「如果打開壩門，水流衝擊力足夠。」
“if we open the dam gates, the force of the water will be strong enough.”
瑞德：「可以把下游部分的怪物沖毀？」
Redd: “Enough to wash away the monsters downstream?”
紅蓮：「對。」
Guren: “Yes.”
「只要發電機啟動。」

「電力足夠後，就可以打開壩體，釋放水庫的水。」

只有一個人在外面的尤里接起。

「怪物在水裡！」
“The monsters are in the water!”
尤里：「水裡？」

就在尤里準備衝進去通知大家的瞬間——

水面開始出現細微的波紋。

巨大的蜘蛛身體從湖水中浮出。
The giant spider emerged from the lake.
橘子汽水立刻後退。
Orange Soda immediately backed away.
鐵齋：「牠們醒了……」
Tessai: “They’ve awakened…”

------Inside the Dam------
「嗶——！嗶——！嗶——！」
“Beep—! Beep—! Beep—!”
刺耳的警報聲突然響起。
A piercing alarm suddenly sounded.
所有人停下腳步。
Everyone stopped.
修寶：「怎麼了？」
Xiubao: “What’s happening?”
瑞德：「警報？」
Redd: “An alarm?”
尤里駕駛著小蚱蜢衝進辦公室。
Yuri drove the Little Grasshopper into the office.
尤里：「瑞德！！」
Yuri: “Redd!!”
「水裡有怪物！」
“There are monsters in the water!”
瑞德：「什麼？」
Redd: “What?”
尤里：「鐵齋剛剛說的！」
Yuri: “That’s what Tessai was talking about!”
「怪物在水裡！」
“The monsters are in the water!”
嵩馬立刻跑到監測設備前。
Shuma immediately ran to the monitoring equipment.
他快速切換水下監測畫面。
He quickly switched to the underwater monitoring feed.
螢幕亮起。
The screen lit up.
水下畫面逐漸清晰。
The underwater image gradually became clear.
原本漆黑的水底……

出現了一個巨大的影子。

「馬上關掉！」

Guren: “We can’t!”
瑞德：「什麼？」
Redd: “What?”
紅蓮：「現在強制停止，發電機會燒掉！」
Guren: “If we force it to stop now, the generator will burn out!”
瑞德：「那就讓它燒！」
Redd: “Then let it burn!”
紅蓮：「不行！」
Guren: “No!”
「如果現在燒掉，壩門就沒有足夠的電力開啟！」
“If it burns out now, there won’t be enough power to open the dam gates!”
瑞德握緊拳頭。
Redd clenched his fists.
遠處。
In the distance,
又傳來一聲巨響。

整座壩體再次震動。

正在快速往上移動。

又是一聲巨響。

瑞德：「全員撤退！」

「我們到洞口集合！」
“We’ll regroup at the entrance!”
所有人立刻開始往出口移動。
Everyone immediately began moving toward the exit.
而就在他們撤離的同時——

壩體深處。
Deep inside the dam,
某個沉寂已久的巨大機械開始持續運轉。

湖面上。

冰層正在被巨大的蜘蛛一點一點撞碎。

夕陽最後一絲光線消失在山後。
