迪亞哥站在指揮中心，看著基地外逐漸靠近的大批機甲。
Diego stood in the command center, watching the large number of mechs gradually approaching outside the base.
「把所有艙門都打開，派出所有無人機，準備迎接大部隊。」
“Open all hangar doors and deploy all drones. Prepare to receive the main force.”
艾頓皺著眉頭看向基地配置圖。
Ayton frowned as he looked at the base layout.
「基地應該沒辦法一下子塞進這麼多機甲吧？」
“The base probably can't fit this many mechs all at once, right?”
「紅燈的先進入格納庫整修。」迪亞哥迅速下令，「黃燈跟綠燈，看看能不能先排回原先的基地處理。」
“Send the red-status units into the hangars for repairs first,” Diego ordered quickly. “For the yellow and green units, see if they can be sent back to their original bases for processing.”
艾頓低頭確認資料。
Ayton lowered his head and checked the data.
「目前大部分機甲都是彈藥不足，除了電系機甲需要全部檢查之外，其他機體狀況都還可以。」
“Most of the mechs are currently low on ammunition. Other than the electric-type mechs, which all need to be inspected, the condition of the other units is still acceptable.”
「那就快速檢查。」
“Then check them quickly.”
迪亞哥忽然想起一件事情。
Diego suddenly remembered something.
「寂光者呢？」
“What about Silent Radiance?”
艾斯回答：

「他正在從老鷹基地運物資過來，剛剛順路把橘慶送回去了。」
“He's transporting supplies from Eagle Base. He just dropped Juqing off on the way.”

他看著眼前忙碌的基地。

這時，瑋柏與奧維快步走進辦公室。
At that moment, Weber and Ovi hurried into the office.
迪亞哥抬頭。
Diego looked up.
「外面還好嗎？」
“How is everything outside?”
瑋柏點頭。
Weber nodded.
「目前還可以，相關佈線都已經完成了，基地外圍也可以直接進行補給。」
“Everything is fine for now. The necessary wiring has been completed, and supplies can also be delivered directly around the perimeter of the base.”
迪亞哥露出一抹笑容。
Diego smiled.
「幹得好。」
“Good work.”
他站起身，望向窗外逐漸亮起的基地燈光。

就在這時，羅沙參謀走進指揮室。

「怎麼了？羅沙參謀？」

「衛星基地傳訊息過來了。」
“We received a message from the Satellite Base.”
索尼亞皺眉。
Sonia frowned.
「什麼事情？」
“What happened?”
「他們需要我們幫忙一件事情。」
“They need our help with something.”
「什麼事情？」
“What is it?”
羅沙沒有立即回答。
Rosa did not answer immediately.
「這件事情……可能需要幾個基地長一起討論。」
“This matter... may require several base commanders to discuss it together.”
索尼亞愣了一下。
Sonia froze for a moment.

路德笑著比出手勢。
Luther smiled and gave a hand gesture.

左伊從旁邊走過來，忍不住笑道：

「哈哈，你竟然讓艾莉西亞親自關心了。」
“Haha, Alicia actually went out of her way to worry about you.”

「好了，總之任務完成就趕快回來。」

她看著兩人。

「應該不會有太大的問題。」

The two space-type Gabriel units activated simultaneously.

Alicia gave them one final reminder.

The two mechs simultaneously flew into the endless expanse of space.

Luther piloted the Gabriel, moving rapidly along the mission route.
左伊緊跟在後方。
Zoi followed closely behind.

左伊指向前方。
Zoi pointed ahead.
「那就是任務標記的位置。」
“That’s the location marked by the mission.”
兩人逐漸降低高度。
The two gradually descended.
看起來像是某種生物的殘骸。

「應該就是怪物降落時留下來的殘留物。」
“They must be the remains left behind when the monsters landed.”
路德調整機體姿態。
Luther adjusted the mech's posture.
「我們分開搜索。」

兩台機甲分別朝不同方向前進。

左伊愣住。
Zoi froze.
「怎麼了？」
“What is it?”
「我覺得……這些東西好像不是殘骸。」
“I think... these things aren't remains.”

地面突然爆裂。
The ground suddenly exploded apart.
大量黑色生物從下方竄出！
Large numbers of black creatures burst out from below!
它們有著鋒利的肢體與巨大翅膀，身體表面覆蓋著甲殼，像是一群從地獄爬出的異形昆蟲。
They had sharp limbs and huge wings, their bodies covered in armor-like shells, resembling a swarm of alien insects crawling out of hell.
左伊瞪大雙眼。
Zoi's eyes widened.
「這是什麼鬼東西？！」
“What the hell are these things?!”
雷達瞬間被大量紅色訊號覆蓋。
The radar was instantly covered by countless red signals.
路德猛然轉頭。
Luther suddenly turned around.
「左伊！撤退！」
“Zoi! Retreat!”
天空中，一群巨大的飛行生物迅速升空。
A swarm of enormous flying creatures rapidly took to the sky.
它們張開翅膀，猶如成群的飛螳，在空中發出尖銳的嘶鳴。
They spread their wings like a swarm of flying mantises, emitting sharp screeches through the air.
「這不是殘留物！」
“These aren't remains!”
路德咬牙。
Luther gritted his teeth.
「這些東西……是活的！」
“These things... are alive!”
下一秒，飛螳群朝兩台蓋布里歐撲去。
The next second, the swarm of flying mantises lunged toward the two Gabriels.
「開火！」
“Open fire!”
兩台機甲同時射擊。
Both mechs opened fire simultaneously.

數隻飛螳在空中爆裂。

大量紅色訊號正在朝左伊的位置集中。

他忽然做出決定。

「幹嘛？」
“What?”
「你先走。」
“You go first.”
「什麼？」
“What?”
「我來引開它們。」
“I'll draw them away.”
「你瘋了嗎？！」
“Are you crazy?!”
左伊立刻反對。
Zoi immediately objected.
「這麼多怪物，你一個人怎麼可能——」
“With this many monsters, how could you possibly—”

路德第一次用如此嚴厲的語氣打斷他。
For the first time, Luther interrupted him in such a stern tone.

駕駛艙內警報聲瘋狂響起。
Alarms blared wildly inside the cockpit.
路德死死抓著操縱桿，眼前的螢幕不斷跳出紅色警告。
Luther held tightly onto the control stick as red warnings continued flashing across the screens before him.
【左側推進器損壞。】
[Left thruster damaged.]
【能源下降。】
[Energy level decreasing.]
【姿態控制異常。】
[Attitude control malfunction.]
【無法維持原定航道。】
[Unable to maintain the original flight path.]
「偏偏在這個時候……」
“Of all times...”
路德咬緊牙關。
Luther gritted his teeth.
他看向前方。
He looked ahead.
原本漆黑一片的宇宙，此刻已經被一顆巨大的星球填滿。
The once pitch-black expanse of space was now filled by a massive planet.

正在快速逼近。

他靠在椅背上。
He leaned back against the seat.

路德抬起頭。

「還活著。」
“I'm still alive.”
他又看了一眼機體狀態。
He looked at the mech's status again.
「而且你也還沒壞掉。」
“And you're not completely broken either.”
「不愧是蓋布里歐。」
“That's my Gabriel.”
路德忍不住苦笑。

「雖然……大概也沒辦法自己飛回去了。」

他伸手關掉部分警報。

He knew even less about what had happened to Zoi.
路德低下頭。

“Zoi...”
「你應該回去了吧？」
“You probably made it back, right?”
他閉上眼睛。
He closed his eyes.
「那就好。」
“That's good.”
